Arras, which takes its name from the theatrical device of the stage curtain, attempts to draw connections between the architecture of the stage and the architecture of letterforms. Arras is a profoundly theatrical typeface, featuring elements that resemble the space of the tiring house in Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre.
